Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actress and member of SSC's board from 2011 is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the recently formed theatre company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. She also served in the SSC as producer and composer of costumes/set designs, music director and as a text coach while serving as Artistic Direction. For her last year she served as lighting designer and director for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble but in this previous year, she directed her debut.
