Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic artist, performer and composer. He blends soul gospel jazz with R&B for a distinctive mixture. From Broadway to European music festivals and clubs Avery Sunshine has been a hit all over the world. Sunshine's given title is Denise White. She hails from Chester Pennsylvania, where she started her musical career by playing the piano and singing in church. The musical journey began for her in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The first single featuring her voice was Stalk You a house 12 issued only in Japan It was later remixed by a variety of producers and has become the mainstay of her live sets. The voice of hers was featured in the music video for The Fighting Temptations. The year 2005 saw Tyler Perry hired her as the principal keyboardist on his stage play Meet the Browns. In 2007 Grammy and Tony Award-winning singer Jennifer Holliday sought her out to serve as the director of the choir for the stage production of Dreamgirls during the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine received national attention through her performances on four consecutive days at the Democratic National Convention. She was then invited to perform at President Barack Obama's 2009 inauguration.
