Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress born in Berkeley on the 1st October 1996. She is an actor, well-known for Choices 2010. (also known as The Heart and Other Small Shapes), Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022), and The Heart and Other Small Shapes.

Asia Argento was raised in Rome by an actor and film family. Both professions she pursued her own. The Church, directed by Michele Soavi, was her debut role. She was later cast as Nanni Moretti's daughter in Red Wood Pigeon It was in the film Close Friends written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career truly took off. she had the opportunity to transition from roles that were played by young girls, to more complex, mature roles. The movie was well-received at the Cannes International Film Festival. Her father was in the film for the the first time Trauma which was directed by the acclaimed Italian director of horror, Dario Argento. Her mother, Daria Nicoleli, is Argento's favorite actress and she was the anorexic trying to track down her parents' killer. Asia was in Dario's The Phantom of the Opera, the third film she directed alongside her dad. Other films included Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. The actress co-starred alongside Carlo Verdone in Perdiamoci di the view as Arianna the girl with physical handicap. The complex and demanding part earned her a David di Donatello award for the Best Actress. In 1995, her work with Michel Piccoli for Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio won her the David di Donatello award, as well as a Grolla of Oro. Asia started directing short films in 1994. She also produced an episode of the film De Generazione. 1996 saw her directing a documentary alongside her father. 1998 she directed AbelAsia which was a film about legendary director Abel Ferrara. This film won a prize at the Rome Film Festival. The year 1999 was the year Asia was the first to direct a feature film by directing Scarlet Diva with Scarlet Diva, in which she was the main actress and author of the screenplay. In May 2000, the film was released throughout the world. The Williamsburg Festival for Films located in Brooklyn, New York awarded the film with a prize.
