Andressa Urach describes in her book Morri Para Viver the experiences she had with sexual abuse as a child. She suffered between the ages of two and eight of being abused by her grandfather who was adopted by her. Andressa only managed to escape any abuse since Andressa's foster mother caught her in the act. Andressa went back to live at home with her mom who was unaware that Andressa experienced any form of abuse until she published her memoir. The woman's interviews revealed that it had been impossible for her before the moment of her transformation. To forgive her abuser was something she thought impossible to achieve. In one of my hardest decision, I called the person who had abused me sexually. It was not an easy thing to take. While I didn't feel in any way guilty, I sought his forgiveness on the phone after a number of prayers. The request to forgive me was not a justification. Mariste Urach describes her reaction during an interview exclusively with Globo, when she realized that a sexy attack was being perpetrated on her daughter. Interview with Globo Mariste Urach discusses what she did when she found out of the harassment experienced by her daughter.
