Angie Harmon was an American model/actress who appeared in numerous films and TV shows. She began as a model but after she gained international recognition she decided to pursue acting. Her acting career started in 1995, when she appeared on the popular TV show "Baywatch Nights". Harmon's voice was used in an animated film version of 'Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.' At the beginning of 2000, Harmon decided to focus only on films and quit acting in television series. After a brief appearance in films then she returned to acting in television series. She is among the actresses that have posed discreetly nude for "Allure" magazine in 2008. The character of detective Jane Rizzoli was her most notable work on the TNT series Rizzoli & Isles. In her role as a detective, she has was praised and accolades. Angie Harmon has been nominated for various times throughout many years and been awarded a number of awards for her outstanding performances.
